Our Story

Aloha Everyone!

Thank you for being a part of our eco-friendly community.  We are striving to do the best we can to keep our oceans and planet clean for many generations to come!

We are Kristen and Shellie, the co-founders of Salty Air Swimwear.  Long story short, we are just a couple of girls obsessed with living life in bikinis.  Our personal journeys led each of us to Hawaii where we met, became friends, and enabled each others’ passion for bikinis.  We decided it was time to turn our passion into our profession, and that is how Salty Air Swimwear was born.

We have been building a strong, female-owned, small business from the bottom up. We started off by building industrial sewing machines from a bag of bolts and screws all the way up to hand cutting and sewing each individual piece to perfection.  

We aim to give our customers affordable, eco-friendly products that will want you coming back for more.  We want all our followers and customers to experience our passion of beautiful sustainable swimwear for all body types.  Through our blood, sweat, and tears we are so happy to finally see our dreams come to life!
